During a rally in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath accused Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge of concealing the deaths of his mother and sister in an attack by Razakars. Adityanath alleged that Kharge fears losing Muslim votes if he speaks out against the atrocities committed by the Nizam's forces during the struggle for Hyderabad's accession to India.

BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reacted to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's recent attack against him, saying the latter should be angry at the Hyderabad Nizam whose "Razakars burnt your village".
